Hello everyone, my name is Diana and I’m a veterinarian assistant here at Woodland. I have been with Woodland for about a year and a half, and I absolutely love working here. Working at Woodland has taught me so much, and I love learning how to care for animals, which is something I have been wanting to do since I was a little girl. When I am not working or going to school, I am spending time with my kids, playing video games with my husband, reading, watching tv, and playing with my pets.

Emily Shoemake, Level III, 2nd Year Vet Student

Hi, my name is Emily and I’ve been at Woodland West for a little over 4 years. I fill many different positions at the hospital, but they all give me an amazing chance of working up close with your babies. I am going into my second year of vet school and I love being able to apply and grow my knowledge here at WWAH. Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time with my pup Kirby and my cats Bug and Achilles.

Jordan Cherry, Level II Assistant

Hi! I’m Jordan and I’ve worked at Woodland West Animal Hospital for about 3 years now! I’ve always loved animals and want to help them out in the best way possible!
I started working at woodland west as a kennel tech but worked my way up to a veterinary assistant. I hope to one day to become an RVT! On my days off, I love to longboard or have some fun at the lake. I have a 1-year-old cat named Bean and he is the sweetest boy in the world.

Karma Davis, Level II Assistant

Hey everyone! My name is Karma and I’m 21 years old. I have one older sister and 2 dogs. One is a 12 years old pitbull named Nicki and a 2-year-old husky named Ozzy. I’ve been at Woodland West for a year now and I love meeting every new pet that comes here. When I’m not at work you can find me sleeping and cuddling with my dog. If I’m not sleeping then I’m reading comic books or playing video games. I started working here because I would always pass by the hospital when I was a kid and daydream about working here and helping out sick pets. I always had an obsession with animals and wanted to see new and exotic pets. My pitbull was diagnosed with degenerative joint disease when she was 4 years old, so that’s when I knew that I wanted to learn and help out pets that were just like her. I’m so happy that I can take care and love on everyone’s pets whenever they stay here or visit the hospital. I hope to continue to work with everyone here and hope to help many more pets for as long as I am here.
