I was scheduled for an appointment on the same day with Woodland West. Julie made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr. Bayless was very compassionate and provided an outstanding treatment plan. Never have I been so impressed in my life as I was yesterday. Never had been to the hospital at Woodland West, however I will now never go anywhere else. My female was not responding to her body dropping temp to deliver. An ER clinic did X-rays and ultra sound but the dr that did the test never spoke to me he went home and left word for the shift change Dr to tell me pups were gone to c section and spay mom. I paid for my tests and left. I called several clinics but no one could help. When I got through to Woodland West after a brief hold I was told to bring her in and let them look at her. Kimberly Clark had a full schedule but refused to turn my girl away. It had been 7 hours since I knew my Punkie was in trouble but when I got a call from Kimberly at 3:30 pm she told me I had one live puppy girl and mom was doing fabulous. WHAT? Hours had passed since I was told C-section, spay and no live pups. What a true miracle this was to hear. I Rushed over to see this miracle and here came Punkie walking down the hall with a very kind technician to explain her meds and follow up care. And then came the other tech and handed over baby “Miracle”. I will be forever grateful for this beautiful person Kimberly Clark. I had lost all faith in vets this morning to be shown there are still great compassionate vets still around that same afternoon. Thank you will never be enough.i was greeted by kindness and treated with compassion the entire time from the front desk to the vet Kimberly Clark to the technicians who helped me to my car. I called Woodland West, which I was a client there. They asked questions and told me to bring her in right away. They checked us in and put in a room and doctor took care of her right away. We have received excellent care for our three dogs at WWAH, over the course of several years now. We appreciate the wide variety of services offered, the many areas of specialty the doctors have and the availability of appointments. Someone ALWAYS seems to be working, and we are thankful! Every single person we have seen -- every check-in staff person, all the vet techs and medical assistants, just everyone) and we have seen 4 vets now, each one wonderful. Dr. Yeagley is amazing (who calls you at home to check on a dog? HE does!), Miller, (such a great guy, and thank you for your service) Clark (also called me at home to check on dogs) and Thomason, she is so smart and empathetic! All the staff from check in, vet techs, and Vets have all been excellent to deal with, especially when you have a sick little baby and they can’t talk. Most of the time they can work you in same day or at least next day.
