Ross Clark, DVM, Founder /Owner Emeritus
Dr. Ross Clark is the Owner of Woodland West Animal Hospital and the Co-Owner with his wife, Linda, of Woodland West Pet Resort. He is also the founder of the Woodland Animal Medical Centers in Tulsa and Edmond, Oklahoma. Furthermore, he is, a co-founder of National Pet Care Centers, now joined with VCA. In addition, Dr. Clark is the author of many books which include 3 editions of Medical and Genetic Aspects of Purebred Dogs, and Medical, Genetic, and Behavioral Aspects of Purebred Cats.
Karen Miller – Hospital Administrator
Karen has been managing Woodland West since 2003. She is married to her first love, Michael Miller, a Flight Paramedic with Tulsa Life Flight and
instructor/Owner of Oklahoma EMS Training Academy. She has two canine children: Boot, a heeler/pit mix, and Hank, a Texas Heeler, as well as her soulmate, a quarter horse named Jesse and 2 kitties named Screwdriver and Hadrian.
Karen has worked for Dr. Clark for over 40 years in one or another of his hospitals. She has been an RVT, specializing in surgery, and a Training Specialist with the Medical Quality and Training Team for National Pet Care Centers. Karen has been in management since 1997 and has been with Woodland West since 2003.
Karen has a love of Rodeo and training horses as well as Herding Dogs! She and her husband, Mike, have several businesses involving horses and website development and spend most summer weekends at rodeos, bike rallies, or the river.
Sarah Cockburn, Practice Manager
Sarah started with Woodland West as a Customer Service Representative in 2007. She quickly became indispensable to our hospital and is now our Hospital Manager and CSR Supervisor. Sarah has always exhibited the true spirit of Customer Care and we are truly lucky to have her! She is now in charge of our Diets, Practice Management System and our all-around “go to” for anything service related.
Chelsea Collison, Hospital Operations Manager, Registered Veterinary Technician
Chelsea joined the Woodland Family in 2013 as an RVT and Care Pair to Dr. Jones. She became our Technician Team Lead and is now our Hospital Operations and Inventory Manager.
She has one amazing son, they also have two perfect doggies, Finn a shepherd mix, and Aspen a golden mix.
